Jennifer's second child, Loren's Great-Grandson, Captain Ian Cole, has inherited a love for boating too. See the personality?  Ian reminds me of Dad when he was little.
Great-grandaughter Heather, Jennifer's daughter, was Dad's first great-grandchild. They had a special understanding and love for each other. She's as beautiful in her heart as she is outside.  I expect great things from both of them.

Because of my Father's example, my children all wanted to join the Service,
to serve our Country, and earn their college educations.
Carrie's son, Gavin, is a sweet, funny, bright, little guy.
He's quite an artist. It run in our family.  But he's also a compassionate little soul.  I think he'd be a great doctor.  Whatever he chooses to do. It will be with love.
Loren and Mary Jane's Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren
This picture was taken in 1998 when Dad, Mom, and I traveled to Ft. Huachuca, Arizona to give a wedding for my son Jim and his fiance Miyoko. Stranger in a strange land, brave Miyoko came over from Okinowa on faith of love to marry my son,  and was instantly welcomed and loved by all.
Happily single again parent, Mary Ann and her Children - 1988.

Family group on Thanksgiving 1984.  Serious look on Dad's face looking at the camera guy.  .  He didn't trust my ex-husband.  Dad was a great judge of character.  He didn't give his opinion unless asked for it, and then he warned first "don't ask me for an opinion unless you're prepared for an honest answer".  I never noticed that look on his face until now.  I should have asked for his opinion before that marriage, even though I probably wouldn't have like it.
